Why Take Music Lessons in La Verne, CA?

La Verne music lessons offer more than just musical skills. Students build real focus and discipline that carries over into school, work, and everyday life. Kids bring that same energy into the classroom, and teens and adults find that music gives them a creative space that's entirely their own–a chance to recharge and do something that feels genuinely rewarding.

Our Level Up achievement program gives every student a clear path forward, celebrating progress with wristbands, stickers, and certificates that keep the excitement alive from one lesson to the next. Whether your child is just starting out or you're an adult returning to an instrument after years away, we build lessons around your goals, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

What Makes San Dimas Music Academy Different

At San Dimas Music Academy, we believe the best lessons are the ones students actually look forward to. Our teachers take time to understand each person's interests, learning style, and musical goals before building engaging lesson plans. That approach, paired with a proven structure, helps students stay consistent, and consistency is where real growth happens.

Families who sign up for kids' music lessons in La Verne often tell us that what they love most is how invested our instructors are in each student's growth. Beyond weekly lessons, our bi-annual recitals at a professional venue give the whole school community a chance to come together and celebrate how far everyone has come.

We’ve had such a great experience at San Dimas Music Academy! My son’s teacher, Evan, has been wonderful and has really helped him with his band music. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and does a great job helping my son improve and feel more confident with his playing.

I also want to give a special shoutout to Amy at the front desk. She is always so welcoming, friendly, and helpful whenever we have questions or need assistance. She really makes us feel welcome every time we come in.

We’re very happy with San Dimas Music Academy and would definitely recommend them to other families looking for a great place for their kids to learn music! 🎶⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can't say enough good things about the San Dimas Music Academy, and especially my clarinet instructor, Sayle Comito-Garcia. From the very beginning, Sayle has demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching.

As an adult learner, I really appreciate his creative approach to instruction. He understands that adults learn differently and tailors each lesson to keep it engaging, encouraging, and challenging at the right pace. He is incredibly responsive, always willing to answer questions, provide helpful feedback, and offer guidance between lessons when needed.

If you're considering learning an instrument—whether you're just starting out or returning after many years—I highly recommend the San Dimas Music Academy and Sayle Comito-Garcia. His patience, expertise, and commitment to his students make learning both enjoyable and rewarding. Five stars all the way!

Jestyne, Logan, and Dustin are wonderful! Dustin is a great instructor, calm and patient. When my son had to change his schedule, Jestyne was very organized and skilled at making that happen. Logan is gifted and positively motivates my son learning new aspects on the drums.

My 9yo daughter takes piano lessons from Miss Meghan. My daughter always looks forward to going each week. Meghan is so easy going, friendly, and you can tell she enjoys working with kids. My daughter loves capybaras and sharks, and Meghan always lets her get her wiggles out with some capybara or shark talk in the beginning of her lesson. My daughter has been learning theory and tempo. She's even learned a few songs. She played in the recital in February, and she's already looking forward to playing in the upcoming recital in June. My daughter is in other extracurricular activities, but I love that this one is consistent and she gets to do something she really loves. Meghan makes it fun. We love her! :)
