DJ LESSONS / MUSIC PRODUCTION LESSONS IN PASADENA

(AGES 8 AND UP)

If you have a passion for hip-hop and electronic music or want to learn how to produce and create music, sign up for our DJ/Music Production Program. Whether you’re a working, professional DJ, an experienced producer or just getting started, our instructors can help build up your skill set and give you new tools to use at the booth, in the recording studio or at your computer at home. Students in our DJ / Music Production Program will learn about scratching, sampling, beat matching, how to use DJ mixers/turntables and how to produce and create a track or song from scratch. You’ll also become familiar with industry-standard software like Serato, Ableton, and Logic.

DJ / MUSIC PRODUCTION FOR BEGINNERS

In today’s world, many kids and teenagers develop an interest in audio editing, creating music and beats using apps on their phones and computers. Our DJ / Music Production instructors show our students the exciting world of music production and how to create music from scratch using the best music softwares and apps including Serato, Ableton, Logic and ProTools. Many of our students are also interested in learning how to DJ, create playlists and how to scratch using turntables. After a few months of lessons, our students oftentimes start to DJ their school dances or other family or public events. 

INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED DJ / MUSIC PRODUCTION

Have you been DJing or producing music and want to improve your skills? Our DJ / Music Production instructors will be able to guide you on your musical journey and show you the skills, tools and tricks you need to get to the next level. You can also join our classes for guitar lessons in Pasadena, CA. Whether it is learning a new software or working on a project of yours, our instructors will help you achieve your goals faster.

Modern Music School organizes two recitals each year, usually held at the beautiful Boston Court Pasadena. Recitals act as a goal for students to work towards as well as a place to showcase their talents for friends and family alike.

Our office staff is available for you seven days a week. We make it a priority to always be there for you, to help in any way we can with exceptional customer service. 

MONTH TO MONTH LESSONS

No long-term commitments. All students are on a month-to-month basis.

THE SAFETY OF OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

We take multiple steps to ensure the safety of our students and families. Our entire staff and teaching faculty is background checked. All of our teaching rooms have security cameras and video footage is stored for two months. We also have an open door policy, meaning you’re welcome to join your child’s lesson at any time. And all of our rooms have observation windows (with the exception of our drum rooms, due to sound proofing).
